Are you interested in a fast-paced role with excellent learning opportunities and a clear path of progression?Opportunity highlights:Downtown core locationHybrid office policy – only 1-2 days in officeGreat work/life balance – no weekends, limited OTGrowth-by-acquisition – M&A exposureTrack record of finance promotions$1 billion+ revenue in 2023We are recruiting on behalf of a leader in their industry, currently seeking a recently qualified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) from a large accounting firm for this newly created position due to growth.Key responsibilities and oversight:• Assist with pre and post acquisition activities including due diligence and financial integration • Prepare and analyze monthly financial packages including value-added analysis and commentary • Review of business unit cash and balance sheets to ensure adherence to working capital metrics/targets• Business partner with portfolio companies and provide financial guidance to senior leadership• Management reporting including presentation of consolidated forecasts and variance analysis• Own the consolidated BU forecast and presentation of forecast and assumptions to business leads• Perform analysis for variances, key performance indicators, operational metrics, and ad hoc requests• Coordinate with portfolio businesses for quarterly and annual financial reporting requirementsThe company is offering a competitive compensation package for this level including an attractive base salary and annual bonus program.
