We seek individuals that demonstrate our PRIDE values (Passion, Respect, Innovation, Drive, Excellence) to help us fulfill our mission to inspire healthy living through WOW flavor experiences.Our Kingsville Headquarters is currently seeking a AutoCAD Layout Designer to join our Greenhouse Operations team The essential function of this role is to prepare and develop 3D models and layout general arrangements for projects as well as prepare process flow diagrams in co-ordination with the current projects.Values:To perform the job successfully, the incumbent’s behavior must be consistent with the PRIDE values expected of all Mastronardi Produce employees: be Passionate; have Respect; be Innovative; be Driven and strive for Excellence.Primary Responsibilities:Preparation and development of 3D models and layout for projectsPrepare process flow diagrams in co-ordination with the current projectsPrepare, design and develop sketchesPrepare Layout design criteriaPrepare sketchesReview of Vendor documentationAssist and review Layout deliverables for design in co-ordination with Project leadsParticipate in 3D Model Reviews and Design ReviewsUnderstanding of mechanical and material handling equipmentInput Proposals and deliverable estimatesCoordinate with other disciplines to ensure a timely and accurate flow of design information, while ensuring departmental and project standards are maintainedProvide input to departmental support tasks such as the maintenance, revision of projects and SOP’sSkills and Qualifications:College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalentExperience in AutoCAD/SolidWorks and other relevant programs considered an assetAbility to read, understand, and produce Layout drawingsAbility to prioritize effectively and manage time appropriatelyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Dedicated team player with strong interpersonal and communication skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work independently when requiredExperience working on large scale projects (Retro-fits, upgrades, builds)Travel:Job will involve travel and potential extended stays on projects depending on the scope and size of the projectTravel required to multiple locations across Canada/US and some International travel will also be requiredPlease note: Mastronardi Produce has accommodation processes and policies in place and provides accommodation for employees with disabilities.
