Our progressive supply chain is unmatched, with 16 factories across the globe.Recochem’s solutions include coolant/antifreeze, EV thermal fluids, performance fluids, diesel exhaust fluid, windshield washer fluids, car care, rust preventatives, household solvents & winterizing solutions.Reporting to the FP&A Director, the Finance Business Partner will be a business partner to the NA Logistic team to provide insight and analytics. This will require curiosity, excellent analytical skills and strong collaboration with the operations and sales teams as well as finance/IT.You will be responsible to ensure accuracy of our delivery and inbound expenses in the financial statements, develop and maintain a set of dashboards and KPIs that are comprehensive and reflect complexity of our business, the strategy and the key business initiatives.You will support projects and monitor progress on productivity programs as we seek to improve efficiency and expand our activities.This position will be based in Montreal or Toronto area ( Milton office)Responsibilities:In depth analysis to better understand:-Inbound costs: rail/trucking expenses compared to standard, demurrage, and inter-site transfers.-Delivery cost (In house vs. third party)Active partner in understanding current processes, remapping if need it to answer to current business environmentActive role in deployment of new ERPImplement a set of dashboards focused on tracking operational and financial performance indicators including but not limited to carrier pricing accuracy and compliance.Month end closing procedures: work with AP/accounting team to review/improve our accrual methodology for freight costs and validate its accuracy.Prepare the management reporting to the division team and support the financial reporting to the shareholders.Report on progress on strategic and cost savings initiatives.Variance analysis, build analytical trends to allow the business to better asses the progress.Assist the pricing/sales teams to optimize freight recharge to customers.Support write-up for capex projects.Pilot the forecasting and budgeting processes for the logistics function, ensuring the main assumptions and strategic initiatives are captured.Participate in the implementation and support of tools like TMS, bulk delivery software, and Procure-to-pay.Work with our IT team to improve and expand our BI and reporting tools.Qualifications7 to 10 years of relevant experience in FP&A or related rolesStrong FP&A background, CPA preferableExperience in large companies preferably transportation.Excellent analytical and IT Skills (advanced excel, queries, ERP, D365)Eagerness to take on challenges.ResilientStrong communication skillsEnglish - mandatoryFrench - an assetLimited travel required
