Our client, a distributor of new and used agriculture equipment, parts and service throughout Canada and the United States is seeking an Assembler Installer to join their growing team in Aliston, ON.
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Assembler Installer holds the responsibility for the assembly and installation of the companies specialized vegetable equipment product line.
Schedule: Monday - Friday / 7:30am - 4:30pm (overtime, on-call and weekend work may be required during peak demand).
Assembles and fabricates mechanical parts to meet required specifications, utilizing a variety of tools and equipment.
Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
Performs preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
Responsible for trouble shooting, calibration and repair of equipment, electrical trouble shooting.
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
Ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures.
Ensures adherence to Health & Safety policies and applicable legislation.
Post-secondary education - trade or college diploma in a related field.
~3+ years assembly experience required.
~ Valid driver's license and clean abstract.
~ Forklift certification.
~ Passport for out-of-town US travel considered an asset.
~ Strong knowledge & experience with specialized vegetable handling equipment and electrical systems.
