Superintendent (Temp)

Join the team and support the VP of Construction as their Project Superintendent to ensure the successful delivery of multiple three and four story wood frame apartment buildings located in Whistler, BC.
Offering $50 to $65 per hour to start based on experience and with room for growth plus extended health benefits.
Full-time, year-round, career position.
Wage starting in the range of $50 to $65 per hour based on experience.
5+ years of construction industry experience working on wood frame buildings of different types, including multi-family projects is preferred.
~ Experience and qualifications in a related trade (e.g. carpentry, concrete, mechanical, electrical, finishing).
~ Experience managing project sites and sub trades.
~ Ability to use standard computer software (Microsoft 365) an asset.
~ Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
~ Experience with budgeting and cost control measures

Attend sub-contractor coordination meetings and safety meetings.
Ensure that project sites are managed and maintained effectively to facilitate efficient construction.
Manage and coordinate temporary facilities and services.
Assist with procurement and material receiving to site.
Assist with sub-contract administration and reporting and invoice approval.
Coordinate project deficiency completion and final delivery/owner turnover.
Support sub-contract tender package preparation and award process.
