In total, NFI supports its installed base in our buses and coaches around the world. This position involves conducting financial analysis, market research, and competitive intelligence to support strategic decision-making and communication with investors and analysts. Monitor daily news, research, and other developments on NFI’s competitors, customers, and industry.
Conduct in-depth competitor research, including quantitative and qualitative information and data.
Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the company's performance, including financial statement analysis, trend analysis, and benchmarking against industry peers.
Gather competitive intelligence to understand competitors' strategies, market positioning, and financial performance.
Development of the company's strategic plan, including conducting analyses to assess market opportunities, competitive threats, and strategic alternatives.
Assist in preparing strategic presentations and materials for senior management and the board of directors.
Monitor regulatory developments, economic indicators, and other external factors impacting the company's business.
Post-secondary education in the Business or Engineering field.
~ The financial designation is an asset.
~2-4 years of experience in corporate finance, strategy consulting or other technical roles
~ Ability to conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis.
~ The employee social committee organizes numerous events throughout the year, including summer barbecues, holiday festivities, sporting events and tournaments, and more.
Ongoing employee development through a variety of in-house training initiatives along with tuition subsidies for courses at outside institutions.
