APEX Heart Centre is a thriving community outpatient cardiology clinic in the west end of Kingston offering cardiac consultation and on-site cardiac testing. We are committed to delivering high-quality care to our patients through compassion and collaboration. Our professional team flourish in an environment where patient care and longevity are our top priorities. We have a strong referral base from within the community and a close partnership with the local hospital Kingston Health Sciences Centre and Queen's University. We work closely with Queen's Research as well as having our own research laboratory on-site. We believe in continuing education and support medical students through rotations of residency and fellowships. APEX cardiologists are a member of the Kingston Health Partners Group which connects specialized community health care practitioners. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, up-to-date on current advancements in cardiology medicine and work effectively as a team player .
Perform patient interviews, including medical history, physical exam, and creating a treatment plan
Reading and completing reports for cardiac testing
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using our electronic medical records (EMR) and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Enrollment with Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
Active license with CPSO
Flexible schedule and competitive overhead
