Desktop Support Specialist

Our client is looking for an onsite, bilingual (EN/FR), contract based Desktop/Intune Specialist to provide Windows build support.
Downtown Ottawa
Support deployment of Windows image/builds, application packages, security updates, and drivers for laptops and desktops according to company standards and policies
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner
Provide support to Desktop build engineers
Monitor and maintain the security and performance of laptops and desktops, including antivirus, updates, backups, and encryption
Coordinate with other IT staff and vendors to ensure the quality and availability of IT services

4+ years of experience in desktop support or similar role
~ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11, Intune, Autopilot, Microsoft Modern management, Office 365, Active Directory, laptop and desktop hardware, software, and peripherals
~ Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a fast-paced environment
~ Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
~ Fluent in both French and English
~ Must be able to work on site and travel to different locations as needed
~ Covid Vaccination: Yes
~ Bilingual: English & French
