Wealth Advisor - Full Time/Permanent - Kelowna
On behalf of our financial institution client, Brainhunter Systems is seeking an experienced Wealth Advisor to join their team in a full time, permanent position.

Note: Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to Kelowna, BC and eligible to work in Canada.

In this position, you will be working under the leadership of the Market Director and will be responsible for the investment advice and holistic financial planning needs of existing and prospective clients.

In this position you will:
  1. Master the basics of holistic investment planning, equip yourself with industry-leading expertise and support our clients’ needs as they become more complex.
  2. Leverage specialized experts to help provide trusted advice in a smart, simple, and helpful way that is personalized to each and every client.
  3. Deeply understand our clients and commit to always having their best interests at heart. You will work towards earning the trust of our clients, not just advising clients but challenging them to make the best financial decisions possible.
  4. Strive to make our clients' time richer, happiness deeper, and aspirations closer as we ensure that they are supported throughout their journey.
Requirements:
  1. 5 years sales and customer experience in the financial services industry (preferably Wealth Management).
  2. Ability to be immediately registered with IIROC (completion of Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course).
  3. Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Economics, Business, or a related field (equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered).
  4. Completed or working towards a financial planning designation would be considered an asset.
  5. Effective relationship building, communication, and discovery skills. This will help you establish relationships with various centers of influences including branches, your advisors team, and other teams across the organization.
  6. The ability to meet or exceed required sales goals by continuously driving to find opportunities to reach new customers.
  7. Ability to embrace existing technology to maximize productivity, enhance processes, and support our client experience.
  8. Pursuing the QAFP and CFP designation is expected as part of this role.
