We are looking for a 310T Apprentice Technician for our Idealease Mississauga dealership located at 7450 Torbram Rd, Mississauga, ON L4T 1G9. This is a full time contract position with benefits.

Reporting to the Service Manager, this position is responsible to diagnose problems deemed for your Apprenticeship Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and under supervision to make repairs to all types of trucks, buses, trailers, and other automotive vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance of all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
  • Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment
  • ead job order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
  • Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
  • Document work performed.
  • Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
  • Examine protective guards, loose bolts and specified safety devices on trucks and make adjustments as needed.
  • Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty.
  • Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties may be assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • 310T Apprentice
  • Good communication skills and work attitude
  • Quality Driven
  • SAP experience is an asset
  • Valid Driver's License and a good driving record
  • Criminal Record Check
  • Driver's Abstract
