Sales Operations Manager North Vancouver, BC
Reporting to the Senior Director, Imports, the Sales Operations Manager is responsible for leading, developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies for their assigned clients/brands nationally. Experience within the confectionary and/or high impulse categories will be a significant asset. Effectively lead and execute on setting and delivering against annual global sales targets, managing sales and marketing budgets, forecasting, overseeing inventory and logistic management, and brand profitability.
At least 5 years experience successfully managing brand(s) within CPG is essential
Strong knowledge of the Canadian retail grocery, mass merchandisers and drug Industry is essential

We are flexible, adaptable, street smart and completely dedicated to building the brands we represent in Canada. Our head office is located on Lonsdale Ave, North Vancouver, close to public transit. This is a great opportunity to join a stable and growing business and to take your career to the next level This is a hybrid position, and you will be expected to come into the North Vancouver office on a regular schedule, 2 to 3 days a week.
This is a full-time position and offers a competitive total reward package that includes a performance based annual bonus, vehicle allowance, and extended benefits including a personal wellness allowance and paid time off on your birthday.
Lead all aspects of assigned brands through building and implementing annual sales and marketing plans
Create and manage client/brand P&L
Develop and manage annual budget for assigned brands.
Deliver profitable volume for assigned brands
Brand franchise building through the effective management of all aspect of the market mix within the Canadian market
Manage all trade spend for assigned brands
Work collaboratively with client/brand development managers across the country, providing budgets and tools to achieve
Manage inventory levels to ensure appropriate levels are maintained
Keeps current on market conditions within relevant categories in the Canadian market, recognise and communicate trends to ensure we are on the forefront of the category
Travel to relevant regional, national and international trade/consumer shows as may be required

Comply with all policies and procedures
Marketing or related degree
At least 5 years experience successfully managing brand(s) within CPG is essential
Strong knowledge of the Canadian retail grocery, mass merchandisers and drug Industry is essential
Very strong in MS Excel and PPT
Communication skills for effective verbal and written communications with sales teams, operations specialists, collaborating departments and senior management
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for sales process improvements and develop and implement new strategies
Financial skills and business acumen to understand sales profitability and opportunities
Technology skills to utilize CRM and database software tools in daily tasks
Research and reporting skills to analyze sales data and consumer trends to create sales forecasts
Some local and national travel across Canada may be required.
