Must Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized program.
  • You must possess at least 15 years of experience in the refining and petrochemical industries, with a focus on Instrumentation & Process Control.
  • This should include 5 years of field experience in construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and operation.
  • Additionally, you should have expertise in Engineering Design & Construction phases, a solid understanding of international codes and standards, and proficiency in control & instrumentation disciplines, such as Advanced Process Control (APC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Emergency Shutdown System (ESD), and more.
  • A proactive approach to project improvement and cost savings is crucial, and having a PMP Certification is a plus but not mandatory.
  • You should also be adaptable to working in multinational teams and be willing to relocate to various locations, including remote areas when necessary.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Managing capital projects within defined scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Overseeing specialized controls and instrumentation systems' design and coordination, involving complex technical and administrative tasks.
  • Offering technical insights and reviewing the design, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup of facilities.
  • Addressing technical issues related to Instrumentation & Process Control at all stages of project development.
  • Guiding project development from engineering studies to startup, including preliminary engineering, detailed designs, materials procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, handover, and commissioning.
  • Reviewing and contributing to Functional Specifications for PCS and Field Instrumentation to align with specifications.
