SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing your skills as an apprentice by troubleshooting electrical systems/components, installing, modifying and repairing aircraft avionics, as contracted by the customer, with the support of experienced Avionics Technicians;
  • Supporting license technicians during various maintenance activity on aircrafts;
  • Accomplish maintenance under technicians supervision; 
  • Interact and work cooperatively with other trade personnel;
  • Management and Customer Representatives while performing work in order to meet project directives;
  • Attend training courses as directed;
  • Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Working towards becoming a “E” licensed Avionics Technician;
  • Previous apprentice related experience is an asset;
  • Background in working on Business Aircraft types, an asset;
  • Ability to work under pressure and to demonstrate strong organizational skills;
  • Must be attentive to detail;
  • Team oriented;

EDUCATION:

  • In the process of finalizing a recognized Avionics Program, or equivalent, is a minimum requirement.
