Our client is a Big-5 Canadian Bank and they are looking to hire an Interim Senior Analyst, Treasury Product Control. The initial term is for 8 months, with strong possibility to either extend longer and/or convert to full time.

As the Senior Analyst, Treasury Product Control, you will be responsible for the production, monitoring, analysis and reporting of P&L attribution, hedge effectiveness, risk and valuation to ensure the integrity, completeness and accuracy of Profit and Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet;
etc. Additionally, you will analyze the overall ‘funding’ requirements for the desks you are covering to make sure adequate funding exists.

***This is a hybrid role in office 2 days per week

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;

  • Proven experience working with Treasury products in a previous role in Finance, Accounting, Product Control, Risk, Liquidity, etc.
  • Systems savvy [Excel, Alteryx, etc.]
  • Professionally designated or in a program (CPA, CFA, MBA, FRM, MFin, etc.)
