Job Description

Mission

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Industrial Mechanics Department to support the growth of the Resources sector in the Saguenay region. Reporting to the Senior Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the management and technical aspect of a project portfolio for our clients in the following sectors: mining, aluminium, pulp and paper, chemical and petroleum.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead all project phases (FEL1 to FEL4)
  • Establish relationships with clients to define project scope, timelines, budget and success factors
  • Prepare technical drawings and specifications in collaboration with the various disciplines assigned to the project
  • Lead studies in accordance with guidelines established by the client
  • Prepare the work-breakdown structure (WBS) and take part in cost estimates
  • Analyze proposals and make procurement recommendations
  • Take part in project planning, drafting study reports and execution plans for projects
  • Ensure coordination between internal and external stakeholders
  • Plan site survey requirements

Qualifications

  • More than 5 years of experience in heavy industry or mining sector
  • Leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders of all levels
  • Advanced proficiency in French
  • Health and Safety on Construction Sites certification (ASP Construction card) is an asset
  • Travel on an occasional basis per project needs
