Responsibilities:
- Reading blueprints, plans, specs and instructions
- Using hand and power tools
- Rough framing of walls, ceilings, flooring and roofs
- Finish carpentry including hanging crown moldings, installing window/door casings and baseboards, installing fixtures and hardware, cabinet installation
- Shoring erection, repair/replacement of patios, decks, doors, cabinets, appliances and necessary demolition experience is a plus
- May also include drywall installation, tape and texture work, and painting
- Checking the accuracy of completed work
- Supervising crews and subs on site
- This is a hands-on position
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 5 years carpentry experience and knowledge of renovating
- Proficiency in all trades, including; frame-to-finish carpentry, and painting.
- Must have a strong work ethic and take pride in all work
- The ability to work efficiently without wasting materials and possessing reliable transportation and tools
- Strong communication skills
- Must possess ability to read building codes, blueprints, and drawings
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and tools of the trade required
Salary and Benefits:
- Full time
- Salary $30-35 Hourly, depending on experience
- Vacation, Holidays & PTO
