Job Opportunity: Skilled Labourer with expertise in pipeline coating

Location: Fort St John

Position Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated Skilled Labourer with expertise in pipeline coating. This role demands hands-on proficiency in coating pipelines to ensure their longevity and safety. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in various pipeline coating techniques, combined with a solid work ethic and commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coating Application: Implement coatings to pipelines, ensuring a seamless and efficient application that adheres to industry and company standards.
  2. Surface Preparation: Prepare pipeline surfaces for coating by cleaning, sandblasting, or other methods as required.
  3. Equipment Operation: Utilize various tools and equipment related to pipeline coating, ensuring proper care, maintenance, and safe operation.
  4. Inspection & Quality Control: Monitor and inspect all coated sections for adherence to quality standards, identifying and rectifying any deficiencies.
  5. Safety Compliance: Always operate in accordance with safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe work environment for oneself and teammates.
  6. Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure timely and quality coating processes.
  7. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest coating techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in pipeline coating or a related field.
  • Familiarity with the tools and equipment used in pipeline coating.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical stamina to handle demanding fieldwork.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in pipeline coating or related field.
  • Knowledge of various coating materials and their applications.
  • Experience with automated coating machinery.
