SUMMARY
Digital creative excellence. Beyond simply elevating best practices for the digital application of creative expression, this person takes this idea one step further. This role will be measured on the ability to have their finger on the pulse and seek out new ways we can redefine our creative offering with digital first thinking.
RESPONSIBILITIES

The Vision
Seek out and bring to the table new ways we can continually grow and add value to the design offering at Think Shift by looking through a digital lens.
Understand how digital creative trends may define the creative team growth and shape the team moving in to the future. Become the bridge between the Digital and UX team and the Creative team.
Be responsible for teaching creative philosophy, values and beliefs with the members of the Creative Leadership Team.
The People
Perform annual employee performance appraisals, bi-weekly one-on-one’s and mentor employee progress between appraisal cycles including identifying and developing top performing employees for growth opportunities.
Work with the Creative Director to diffuse problems and find solutions in the best interest of the agency and employees.
Act as company advocate and embody Think Shift’s values of accountability, transparency and stewardship.
The Business
Work with the Operations team to manage capacity and flow of work through the design team and ensure revenue is secured to cover capacity. Find and define a strong and deep pool of quality design partners.
Work closely with the Operations team to understand how AGI and Revenue in projections can be used to predict capacity peaks and valleys in capacity.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to manage ensure that ideas/products are produced in a timely manner, on budget and with quality that exceeds what is promised to the client.
70% Concept Development
Inspire, motivate, and lead creative teams to develop creative solutions in all forms of digital and traditional media.
Create leading edge designs for brand, print and interactive.
Participate in client meetings and lead creative concept presentations.
Lead the development of creative concepts that speak to the client’s and end user’s goals by facilitating brainstorming sessions and working closely with clients and creative teams.
Extract creative thoughts and ideas from internal and client teams
Direct creative work of the highest caliber
Listen, ask, hear, prioritize and translate client situation, marketing goals and information into compelling visual, voice, messages and rationales
Provide constructive feedback and direction to designers and other team members in a proactive and motivating way
Lead and direct the development and execution of short-term project specific goals
Work in partnership with the Accounts team toward shared project goals
Work in partnership with the Development team to create unique digital first solutions
