Design secure, scalable Azure applications from Toronto in a hybrid Senior Solutions Architect role focused on UI, APIs, and backend services.
This hands-on architect owns enterprise-scale, data-driven business applications supporting financial reporting, adjustments, scenario modelling, and analytical workflows. You will shape application layers across front-end interfaces, backend services, APIs, microservices, and data platforms. The work emphasizes application architecture rather than data engineering or data architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end architecture for enterprise data-driven applications
- Design front-end, backend, API, and data platform layers
- Define integration, security, networking, and infrastructure components
- Evaluate technologies, trade-offs, and implementation strategies
- Translate business requirements into clear technical designs
Requirements:
- Extensive enterprise application and solution architecture experience
- Hands-on Azure architecture experience is mandatory
- Expertise with Azure SQL, App Service, Functions, and AKS
- Strong UI, backend services, APIs, and microservices knowledge
- Experience building interactive reporting or scenario modelling applications
