Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in manufacturing environments. This role involves assembling components and products using various hand and power tools, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the assembly process. Duties Assemble products according to specifications and blueprints, ensuring accuracy and quality. Operate hand tools, power tools, drill presses, lathes and grinders safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks. Inspect finished components using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturing documents Collaborate with engineers and team members to improve processes and product quality Conduct inspections of assembled products to verify functionality and adherence to quality standards. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve assembly processes. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Utilize forklifts for material handling as needed, ensuring safe transport of components within the warehouse. Experience Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues during the assembly process. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and warehouse operations is essential. Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided for qualified candidates. A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques related to assembly processes is highly valued.
