Goodness Me is currently seeking an experienced and customer-focused, full-time Fresh Foods Department Manager for our Cambridge location.
From our emphasis on a healthy work-life balance, to a strong culture of promoting from within and opportunities for leadership and skills development training, working at Goodness Me isn’t just a job; Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible to lead and manage daily operations of the Fresh Foods Department, with a focus on sales, labour, and waste targets.
Monitoring and evaluating team members performance including executing performance management conversations.
• Assisting in rolling out new policies and ensuring that team members are compliant.
• Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge.
• Assist with inventory management.
• 3-5 years of management experience
• Experience in maintaining operational excellence in retail stores (payroll, shrink and inventory management, etc)
• A solid understanding of sales forecasts for establishing key targets for the department
• Ability to work primarily daytime shifts, with evening/weekend availability
