CorMac Projects Inc. is a Calgary based General Contractor providing services throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia. Our projects and focus is diverse. Customers include retail, industrial, commercial, financial, and government. Projects range in size from small renovations to base building. By remaining true to our corporate principals of; integrity, reliability, and professionalism, combined with an unwavering commitment to satisfy the needs of our clients, CorMac Projects Inc. We are looking for a skilled Site Superintendent to join our dynamic team of professionals. This is a full time position with the flexibility to work some weekends and travel if required. Must be willing to travel throughout the Southern Interior of British Columbia based on project location. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10+ years’ experience in commercial construction, preferably in a Site Superintendent capacity and have own transportation and a valid driver’s license. You will need to have extensive experience in base building and large scale commercial renovations. All on-site construction activities and coordination on a daily basis
Interface with clients, architects, designers, and other consultants to manage project issues and maintain positive working relationship
Take the lead on productivity issues and monitor work performance and efficiency of employees and subcontractors
Contribute to the development of a construction plan and manage subcontractor activities
Project construction scheduling and assume responsibility of the commissioning of project systems
Ensure the implementation of Safety Programs to create safe work environment throughout the job site and adhere to the safety and record keeping requirements
Work within the projects budget, direct and monitor self-performed work
Advise senior management of potential problems, work interference or schedule difficulties while assisting in circumventing/resolving such conflicts

Work with trades, schedules, site instructions, and RFI’s
This person will be a team player looking to develop their own personal career objectives, while contributing to a team that is focused on quality, professionalism and high standards. As CorMac Projects Inc. serves clients across Western Canada the successful candidate must be willing to travel when it is required for project purposes.
