JMC is excited to partner with Uproar Productions on their search for a Video Editor to join their growing creative team on-site in Moncton, NB. Uproar Productions is a Moncton-based video and photo production company that has quickly built a strong reputation across Atlantic Canada and beyond. Known for bold storytelling, high production standards, and a collaborative creative process, Uproar works with clients who value originality, energy, and work that actually stands out. The Video Editor will play a central role in bringing creative concepts to life through high quality visual storytelling. Key Responsibilities Edit short‐ and long‐form video content for a wide range of commercial, branded, and creative projects. Collaborate closely with the team to interpret briefs and transform raw footage into compelling final products. Maintain strong attention to pacing, sound design, colour, and storytelling flow across all edits. Contribute creatively to projects by offering ideas, refinements, and solutions that elevate the final product. Support occasional on‐site video shoots as needed, contributing beyond the edit suite when opportunities arise. Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining consistency and quality. Education & Experience Proven experience as a Video Editor, supported by a strong portfolio of work. Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with animation tools and motion graphics is considered a strong asset. Comfort working within a Mac based production environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, deadline‐driven setting. Fluency in English is required; bilingualism in both English and French is considered an asset. Ability and willingness to work in‐office in downtown Moncton, NB, and travel occasionally for shoots as required. Why Uproar?
