Aurum Truck & Trailer Ltd. is seeking full-time *Apprentice Truck/Trailer Heavy Duty Mechanics* based in Edmonton, AB.
* *This position will be Afternoon Shift*

Aurum Truck & Trailer is a newly constructed truck and trailer maintenance facility with a focus on TC406/407 tanker trailers. Aurum Truck & Trailer is a subsidiary of Chambers Transportation Group Ltd., which is proud to have been named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for the last 4 years.

*About the Position:*
* Trailer repair- PMs, electrical work, brakes, suspension & product pump rebuild.
* Tractor repair- PM's electrical work, brakes, suspension, engine diagnostics, general running repairs & Power Take-Off, and wet kit experience an asset.
* Basic tools required for the position.
* Diagnostic experience.
* Boot and tool allowance
* RRSP matching

*Responsibilities:*
* Professionally maintain equipment.
* Follow policies & procedures.
* Work safely, using directed PPE.
* Complete tasks in a timely fashion as per the Standard Repair Time Guidelines.
* Maintain fleet equipment.

*Skills:*
* Operation of hand tools.
* Operation of air tools.
* Strong and reliable work ethic.
* Positive attitude & job performance.
* Truck and or Trailer Apprentice With an active Blue Book.

*Requirements:*
* Valid Class 5 Driver License.
* Apprentice Heavy Duty Truck or Trailer Mechanic
* May work above shoulder level with power and /or hand tools weighing 15 pounds or less and in confined spaces.
* Must meet the physical requirements of the position and have mobility, vision, hearing, sense of smell, and dexterity levels appropriate to the duties performed.
* May stand and walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift, and carry items weighing 50 lbs. or less.
* Must be willing and able to work at heights up to 15 feet.

*Wage:*
* Percentage of journeyperson rate of $45/hr

*Schedule:*
* Monday – Thursday: 11:30am – 10:00pm
