Lead BIM-enabled architectural documentation with Stantec in Calgary, developing building designs, models, and details across complex projects.
As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will work with Project Manager guidance while advancing architectural designs from concept through construction. You will develop floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, three-dimensional renderings, and architectural details. The position requires Revit, BIM360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud, building-code knowledge, and design coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop architectural plans, sections, elevations, renderings, and details
- Use BIM technologies for three-dimensional building models
- Coordinate building systems with design intent
- Present designs to stakeholders during early project phases
- Maintain design intent through documentation and construction
Requirements:
- Diploma in Architectural Technology
- Minimum 15 years of experience
- Understanding of Revit and BIM360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Ability to apply accessibility, building, and life-safety codes
- Knowledge of construction systems, materials, and constructability
