Corrpro Canada, Inc. is looking for a Corrosion Engineer III to join our team in May or June. Engineer positions would be based in Vancouver, BC areaCorrpro, a subsidiary of Aegion Corporation, is among the world's largest corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure. Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies. Corrpro has complete construction installation services, including crews and equipment to install any type of cathodic protection system for any type of structurePlan and perform more complex engineering duties for oil and gas, utilities and public works projectsReview preliminary data, discuss objectives and expectations, and suggest appropriate engineering methods and proceduresPrepare engineering designs and reports and direct preparation of field drawingsAssist in cost estimation and detailed proposal developmentPlan and schedule activities for efficient utilization of resourcesCoordinate engineering aspects of installation processCoordinate material and subcontractor procurement servicesSupervise and/or perform tests required to determine environmental conditions of soil and waterSupervise and participate in post installation surveyCoordinate interference testing and bonding required with client and affected companiesEnsure proper application of methods and procedures, modify as appropriatePerform economic evaluations of alternative methods of cathodic protection and corrosion controlQUALIFICATIONSBachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Electrical, Chemical, Materials Engineering or related field requiredPEng requiredNACE CP Technician or Technologist Certification5 years corrosion experienceMust have strong project management with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and problem-solving skillsMust be able to mentor and lead junior team membersMust have valid driver’s license with a good standing drivers abstractMust be able to lift 50 lbs., as well as walk/stand for extended periods of timeCompetitive Salary | Full Benefits Package | RRSP Matching Program Vacation & Holiday Time | Training & DevelopmentWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and we value diversity in our workforce.
