In this role as a Demo labourer, you will be responsible for two critical tasks. Firstly, you will efficiently pack out contents from affected properties and transport them to safe and secure storage facilities. This will involve careful handling and organization of belongings to ensure their preservation during the restoration process. Secondly, you will conduct tear-outs of drywall, flooring, carpeting, and other materials from residential properties. Your expertise in these areas will be pivotal in facilitating the restoration and renovation of homes and businesses for our valued clients in Nova Scotia.

REQUIREMENTS

To ensure the safety and well-being of all team members and adhere to industry standards, the position of Disaster Restoration Specialist requires candidates to meet specific requirements. These include wearing CSA approved steel-toed boots, which offer essential protection against potential hazards on-site. Additionally, a CSA approved hard hat will be provided and must be worn to safeguard against head injuries during restoration work. To enhance visibility and safety, a CSA approved reflective vest will also be provided and must be worn at all times while working. Safety glasses, provided for protection against airborne particles and debris, must be worn during designated tasks. Furthermore, safety gloves, provided to protect hands during various restoration activities, should be utilized. To ensure the security and trustworthiness of our team members, all candidates are required to undergo and pass a verified criminal record check.
