Location Southwood Golf & Country Club - Winnipeg, MB Posted 2024-02-04 Deadline 2024-02-11 Job Summary Southwood Golf & Country Club is currently seeking a qualified Apprentice, Assistant or Associate Golf Professional or an individual who is considering becoming an Applicant with the PGA of Canada. Reporting to the Head Golf Professional, the successful candidate will assist in administering all daily operations including, but not limited to: operating POS system, managing tee sheet applications, facilitating sales and merchandising, and maintaining excellent service to achieve member and guest satisfaction. Supervise the day to day operations and Golf Shop staff to ensure high quality performance
 Oversee the daily retail operation including receiving new products and inventory control
 Play and promote the game of golf with various cross sections of the membership
 Experience in golf shop organization and management, as well as tournament and league organization preferred.
 Knowledge of golf rules, back shop services, golf cart maintenance and driving range operations.
 Knowledge of golf apparel and equipment.
 Must be available to work flexible hours to meet operational needs.
 O.S. and Microsoft Office Suite would be an asset.
