Brand new ABA Centre opening
Spectrum Learning Centre is passionate in providing high caliber ABA, OT, & Speech therapy to children in Durham Region. As this is a brand new centre, we will be open mid-2024 in North Oshawa Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients
- Provide therapy and intervention to improve patients' speech and language skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and educators, to develop comprehensive care plans
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- This position requires a high level of patient care, case management, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. The Speech Language Pathologist will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in patients. The ability to effectively communicate with patients, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and maintain accurate patient records is essential for success in this role. A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology certification is required. Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.
