Job Title: Senior Accountant (CPA Designated)

Location: Etobicoke, Ontario

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and CA/CPA Designated Senior Accountant to join the team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in audit, a proven track record in the compilation of financial statements, and exposure to tax-related activities. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and lead audit engagements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, providing valuable insights to clients for effective decision-making.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting and tax regulations to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Assist in tax planning and compliance, working closely with clients to optimize their tax positions.
  • Conduct financial analysis and recommend strategies for improving clients' financial performance.

Qualifications:

  • CPA or CA designation is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and tax regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity in work.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
