We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing team in the Greater Barrie Metropolitan area.
You will be working alongside a small tight knit group of designers working on various projects including equipment and machinery designs to continue to service the core business of the company and clientele, but also lead the charge on innovative designs and ideas.
Ideally you will have your mechanical engineering degree as well as PEng designation (or working towards this).

Schedule is generally Mon-Fri standard business hours with flexibility to travel to the US and other locations in Eastern Canada for training and business needs

Working on various projects in collaboration with the other team members
Innovating new equipment and product lines using design software and other means
Mechanical Engineering degree
Minimum 5 years experience working as a mechanical engineer or mechanical design engineer
Agricultural and farm equipment/products background an asset
Must have experience using SolidWorks software
Experience or knowledge of AI (artificial intelligence) in design elements and has worked with the technology is an asset
Controls and electrical background an asset
R&D design experience (start to implementation)
Troubleshooting new designs and providing solutions
Must have valid passport and be able to travel to the USA
