Through this individualized curriculum, our students will be able to develop their technical skillset in the various foundational principles of art, whilst at the same time developing a creative and design mindset that will be applicable in all their future endeavors. Under our guidance and tutelage, our students are able to gain a head start in their art and design programs at the collegiate level, through an early exposure to a studio environment and method of pedagogy. Role Description

This is a part-time role for an Animation Teacher at the Cloud Center of Art and Design located in Richmond, BC, with flexibility for remote or on-site work.

The Animation Teacher will be responsible for teaching animation principles and techniques to students. This includes creating lesson plans, facilitating discussions, providing constructive feedback, and evaluating student work.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in animation principles and techniques
• Proficiency in animation software
• Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and instructions to students
• Experience in teaching or tutoring animation is preferred
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Animation, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred
• A passion for art and design and a commitment to fostering creativity in students
