Fisheries Research Technologist
$The Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship is accountable for integrated land and natural resource management, including objective setting for land and marine environments, effectively managing cumulative effects, and advancing reconciliation with Indigenous peoples, environmental sustainability, and economic growth.
As the Fisheries Research Technologist, you will be the lead project coordinator for two spawning channels. Responsibilities include biological data collection on fish, data management, and reporting. You will be responsible for coordinating and administration of contracts. You will also present data and updates to technical teams, funding agencies, and the public.

Minimum of a diploma in a natural resource field.
Experience performing technical duties and working with key statutes that support natural resource management.
Experience with field data collection compilation and analysis.
Experience with fish inventory and handling.
Experience working in partnership with a variety of project partners.
