We are currently looking to fill a Part Time opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist I at Eagle Ridge Hospital located in Port Moody, BC .

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to respiratory therapy: assists with in-service education and provides input into program development.
Performs diagnostic and therapeutic assessments, interventions and follow-ups as related to respiratory therapy such as assisting with cardiopulmonary resuscitation and providing support initiating/maintaining mechanical ventilation support of adults, children and infants, providing airway management, patient evaluation, and daily care of patients as prescribed.
# Monitors and performs required maintenance, cleaning, calibration, evaluation and quality control of respiratory and related equipment: reports supply needs as required; Participates in quality improvement activities such as the development, implementation and evaluation of written procedures and standards, development of assessment forms and patient materials, and program descriptions as required.
# Participates in Respiratory Therapy student education and various in-services for staff and the community as required.
# Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
