What you’ll do:
The Operations Manager will provide leadership to the Bulk Petroleum Manager, Food Store Manager, Gas Bar Manager, and Senior Manager, Home and Building Solutions for Swan Valley Co-op. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and lead the business growth development, corporate performance management, risk management, annual operation and capital budgets, and more for the aforementioned divisions. The successful applicant shall demonstrate the following abilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a growth and business development strategy.
- Provide strategic leadership for the Operations Divisions to achieve growth and business development objectives.
- Responsible for the talent management cycle, including recruitment, development and training, and performance management of division leadership.
- Build and maintain strong trust relationships with their leadership team to provide guidance and support in sales growth, financial health and profitability, and operational improvements.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:
- You have applicable post-secondary education.
- You have strong communication skills both written and oral.
- You have 10+ years of related experience including 5+ years of leadership experience.
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
