We are seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for someone passionate about crafting seamless online experiences and excited about using WordPress at a high level. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing user-friendly, high-performing websites and applications from concept to completion.

One of our core service areas is web design and development, so creating beautiful, functional and well-coded sites is essential. As our Web Developer, you will work closely with our current development team as well as our in-house designers, writers and strategists

You are an experienced and reliable coder who is adept in HTML, Javascript, CSS and have a firm grasp of PHP. Knowledge of, and desire to stay on top of current web standards and trends is mandatory. You have a passion for developing premium user experiences, and are skilled in various CMS platforms.

You are familiar with all the latest web standards and coding best-practices, and are able to perform testing and troubleshooting for multiple browsers. We are looking for the kind of person who takes initiative, asks the right questions, is comfortable in meetings or on the phone, forms relationships and who wouldn’t hesitate to have a glass of wine (or beer) with any of their team members. From initial client onboarding, right through hosting review, web development and final site launch, you work non-stop to develop pixel perfect websites. Develop and maintain advanced WordPress websites, plugins, and themes.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that complies with company coding standards and WordPress best practices.
Collaborate with the design team to translate visual concepts into functional online experiences.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness for all web implementations.
Optimize website performance for maximum speed and scalability.
Implement security measures to protect websites from vulnerabilities.
Provide technical support and guidance on web development best practices to team members.
Stay updated on new technologies and best practices in web development to continuously improve our web offerings.

Degree or Certificate in Computer Science, Web Development, or related experience.
Experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
Strong proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Experience with PHP and MySQL.
Experience with WordPress e-commerce solutions like WooCommerce including extending functionality through theming, custom plugins and payment gateway integration.
Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Experience with version control tools (e.g., These skills, while not required, will highly enhance your application and are indicative of a well-rounded candidate who can bring additional value to our team and projects.

DevOps Experience: Familiarity with deployment processes, Apache server configuration and maintenance.
Technical Strategy: Ability to contribute to technical strategy discussions, with a keen understanding of how to align technical decisions with business objectives.
Performance Optimization: Skills in advanced performance optimization techniques for web applications, understanding of caching strategies, CDN usage, and database optimization.
Experience with implementing web accessibility (WCAG) standards and internationalization for global audiences.
Understanding of remote server management through SSH, WHM/cPanel, Linux Bash Scripting.
