Metro Xpress is currently seeking permanent, full-time AZ drivers and owner-operators for cross-border (USA/Canada) and dedicated Canada runs (e.g., Toronto to Montreal) as well city drivers. We offer competitive mileage pay, bi-weekly payments, and a friendly dispatch environment. Minimum of 1 year of valid AZ driving experience.
Clean Driver's Abstract and CVOR Abstract.
Professionalism in customer service.
Operate and drive articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely.
Perform daily pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance.
Comply with all Ministry of Transportation (MTO), federal, state, and local safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with mechanics and dispatch regarding any mechanical problems or route changes.
Load and unload goods as required.
Toronto to USA drivers paid $0.60/mile with 1 yr experience; Toronto to Montreal drivers paid $0.50/mile with 1 yr experience).
Schedule is typically Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed.
