Our team has an immediate permanent opening for a Senior Principal Researcher.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Huawei's next-generation Mobile Products and design strategy of research & development in AI technology for consumer business.
  • Fulfill the technical requirement of mobile product development. Your research will be applied widely in consumer's businesses, such as mobile devices. The featured result of your research will be presented to the world via the latest Huawei Product Launch Event.
  • Use your deep understanding of AI to leverage Huawei research insights, lead researchers and product development teams in the world and transfer your ideas into solutions in the next generation of Huawei mobile products.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • PhD in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
  • Minimum 8 years+ of academic & industry-applied research experience in machine learning, NLP, Large-scale conversation pre-training model, etc.
  • Have established yourself in the research communities and/or in the industry with a proven track of record in academic/industry publications(ACL, ICLR, AAAI, COLING、ICML and NeurIPS etc.).
  • Experienced and passionate in strategic consulting that addresses mission-critical priorities to achieve stronger business outcomes in the technology world is an asset.
  • Creative, collaborative, and innovation-focused.
