An opportunity for a Red Seal Plumber to join an exciting mechanical contractor in a Foreman or Lead Hand Role

Your New Company:

Our client is renowned for delivering a comprehensive range of mechanical systems and services to commercial and institutional buildings, including hospitals, schools, recreation centers, retail spaces, offices, and more. With project values spanning from 50K to 3Million, they maintain high standards for all employees and subcontractors, earning them a respected reputation in the industry.

Your New Role:

As the Mechanical Foreman, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating projects from start to finish. Your day-to-day activities will vary depending on the size of the projects, typically involving small to medium-scale endeavors. You will supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of Apprentices, Journeymen, and Junior staff members. Ensuring health and safety on site is paramount, achieved by adhering to safety standards, conducting safety training, running safety orientations, and reviewing company policies with your team. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment while delivering high-quality results.

What You’II Need to Succeed:

To excel in this role, candidates should have at least 5 years of experience. Ideally, you will hold a Red Seal license and possess extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations. Strong leadership experience, along with excellent communication and organizational skills, is essential. Additionally, proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings is required.
