The City of Kamloops is recruiting for an Assistant Design Engineer to join our team. The Assistant Design Engineer is responsible for maintaining the City’s approved products list and Master Municipal Construction Documents as well as the design and completion of capital projects for upgrades and expansion to the roads, drainage, water and sewer utility infrastructure. This position provides professional engineering services to support the City's capital works program. A University Degree in Civil Engineering.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at the intermediate level. 
Minimum three year's of municipal engineering experience, in either municipal government or a private consulting capacity.
