As we continue to expand, we are seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in the design and manufacturing of industrial baking machinery. This position offers end-to-end involvement in projects, including onsite visits for installations, repairs, and maintenance, which may require international travel due to our global customer base.
Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
Create 3D designs to meet customer requirements, while ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
Contribute to preliminary design with conceptual ideas and principles.
Develop final solutions for various equipment, adhering to agreed-upon design concepts.
Ensure designs comply with safety standards.
Perform engineering calculations and develop general layouts of equipment.
Review work progress and monitor completion by junior personnel.
Strong technical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and MS Office.
SAP experience is an asset.
Valid driver’s license required.
Experience in 3D parametric modeling and 2D drawing.
Engineering Technician degree or higher.
