Participate in the design of tooling for manufacturing forming and processes. welding sequences
template design
respect for construction points and datums
other manufacturing process requirements, etc.
Design, manufacture and install critical tooling.
As an active participant in DFM related to tooling, you will have an influence on product design, where your analyses will influence various engineering choices.
Coordinate, with the predictive engineering team, manufacturing FEA analysis needs and provide feedback on models.
Participate in establishing tooling performance criteria, draw up validation plans with manufacturing teams and monitor progress.
THIS ROLE IS A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
A college diploma (DEC) or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 5 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes for mechanically welded parts (chassis, silencers, etc.) Very good communication skills with people in manufacturing units.
A good knowledge of French and English, both spoken and written Spanish would be an asset.
