Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is a unique opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, including the design and analysis of hydroelectric dams and other large-scale infrastructure. You will be responsible for overseeing all stages of project development, from conceptual design to construction and maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented engineer looking to apply their skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Design and analyze hydroelectric dams and other large-scale structures, ensuring they are safe, functional, and cost-effective.
  2. Use advanced computer software to create detailed structural models and simulations.
  3. Prepare technical reports and presentations that clearly explain design and analysis results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  4. Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and construction personnel to ensure project goals are met.
  5. Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, ensure compliance with design specifications, and identify any potential issues.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
  7. Provide expert advice and technical support to other team members as needed.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. A Master's degree is preferred.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, with a focus on hydroelectric dams or similar large-scale projects.
  3. Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  4. Proficient in using structural engineering software.
  5. Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
  6. Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
  7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  8. Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  9. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
  10. Passion for engineering and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
