Payroll Clerk
The Payroll Clerk position will be responsible for daily entry of QB sheets, biweekly processing of payroll, related payroll changes & adjustments and benefit remittances. Administrative duties will involve reception coverage, booking travel, Accounts Payable backup and support to Accounting, HR and Supervisors as needed.
Performance Expectations  
Ordering weekly office and coffee supplies
Booking rental cars and hotels for business travel as needed
Assistance with maintaining WSIB and Insurance documentation for visitors and contractors
Includes preparation of customer invoices from shipping documents and preparation of daily sales reports.
Preparation and balancing of bi-weekly payroll for all employees including deductions.
Administration of payroll involving ADP payroll services.
Preparation of payroll initiated remittances (WSIB, Cooperators, Manulife).
Provide support in the form of general office duties i.e. ordering office supplies, receptionist coverage, etc.

Minimum of five years hands-on experience in accounting field, specifically payroll administration.
Knowledge of ADP Payroll systems, EmpCenter, and Oracle considered an asset.
Proficient in computer applications (Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) considered an asset.
Working knowledge of IFS considered an asset.
Familiarity working in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
 
Able to work overtime or under pressure to meet deadlines.
Community based outreach supporting both local and global initiatives and charities.
Social committees and sports teams.
Discounts for local vendors and events, including auto supplier discounts.
