Monitors quality improvement projects
Audits implementation of quality system for effectiveness by verifying operation activities to Gate Gourmet, Customer and Regulatory specification
In conjunction with the QA Manager and QA Supervisor, educates (trains) unit staff and managers in quality related issues
Plays a key role in developing a comprehensive quality program
In conjunction with the QA Manager and QA Supervisor, implements the quality system detailed in the quality manual
Champions the total quality improvement efforts and initiates problem solving efforts and assures implementation
Maintains customer compliance resolution
Responsible for the maintenance of key performance metrics for the Quality organization
Controls Food safety and Quality of processing and manufacturing within the business
Supports customer audits, government audits to meet compliance
Ensures quality specifications and requirements are followed and met
Responsible for safety, quality and compliance to customer specification
Responsible for performance evaluation, coaching, counseling and preparing corrective action for employees and liaises appropriately with HR and other support functions

College degree in related discipline and knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP and/or Quality Management


Work Experience:
Minimum 1 year experience in Food safety control practices (GMP's, SOP's, and HACCP) and quality program control required
Minimum 2 years experience working in a high volume, manufacturing, food production, restaurant or catering environment or equivalent experience in the related field preferred
Experience working in the airline industry would be an asset

Intermediate level Microsoft office tool skills (Excel, Word)
Knowledge of quality auditing, inspection methods
Able to work with little supervision
Excellent reading, writing, and oral communication skills

Project management skills
Knowledge of Public Health regulations
HACCP certified and/or Food Safety training a plus
Basic lean, six sigma knowledge, and/or continuous improvement understanding a plus

Suivre les projets d'amélioration de la qualité
• Auditer la mise en œuvre du système qualité pour en vérifier l'efficacité en vérifiant les activités opérationnelles selon les spécifications Gate Gourmet, des clients et les réglementations gouvernementales
• Dispense la formation aux employés personnel et les gestionnaires de l'unité aux questions liées à la qualité et sécurité alimentaire en collaboration avec le responsable AQ et le superviseur AQ
• Contribuer au développement du programme de qualité
• Contribuer à l’implantation du système qualité tel que détaillé par le manuel qualité en collaboration avec le responsable AQ et le superviseur AQ,
• Promouvoir les efforts globaux d'amélioration de la qualité, initie des démarches de résolution de problèmes et assure la mise en œuvre
• Maintenir les indicateurs clés de performance pour le service de la Qualité
• Contrôler la sécurité alimentaire et la qualité de la transformation et de la fabrication au sein de l'unité
• S’assurer que les spécifications et exigences de qualité sont respectées et remplies
• Responsable de la sécurité alimentaire, de la qualité et de la conformité aux spécifications du client
• Responsable de l'évaluation des performances, du coaching, du conseil et de la préparation des actions correctives pour les employés, et assure la liaison appropriée avec les RH et d'autres fonctions de soutien

Diplôme universitaire ou post secondaire dans une discipline connexe et connaissances en sécurité alimentaire, HACCP et/ou gestion de la qualité
Minimum d'un an d'expérience en pratiques de contrôle de la sécurité alimentaire (GMP, SOP et HACCP) et en contrôle qualité des programmes requis
• Minimum 2 ans d'expérience dans un secteur à fort volume, industrie, production alimentaire, restauration ou traiteur, ou une expérience équivalente dans un domaine connexe préféré
• Compétences intermédiaires avec les outils Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Connaissances en audit qualité, méthodes d'inspection
• Capable de travailler avec un minimum de supervision
• Compétences en gestion de projet
• Connaissance des réglementations gouvernementales de santé publique
• Une formation certifiée et/ou sécurité alimentaire HACCP est un atout
• Approche Lean de base, connaissances six sigma et/ou compréhension de l'amélioration continue sont un avantage
