YRHwas originally founded in 1912 and has developed into a vast health care complex serving the 58,000 people of Shelburne, Yarmouth, and Digby Counties.YRH has approximately 2,800 cases/year and350 deliveries/year. The facilityhas two minimally invasive suites, a preadmission clinic, and up-to-date anesthesiology equipment including Omnicell anesthesia computerized systems. It has three general rooms where, on average, physicians runone to tworooms per day (8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) and the third room is used for emergencies and C-sections.
Located in Yarmouth, YRH has 124 inpatient beds and provides a range of primary and secondary services through in-patient, outpatient, and satellite programs:

Responsibilities
worka full scope of practice as an anesthesiologist
participatein call shifts
provide support to your own site and to others in Western Zone if required, which includes day-time coverage and occasional overnight/weekend coverage.
