Lead AI platform development at Boeing Vancouver, guiding agentic AI, data science, and engineering capabilities through a hybrid Richmond work arrangement.
As AI Development Manager, you will lead a team delivering shared AI/ML services, harnesses, agents, and tools for commercial aviation offerings. Reporting to the Senior Manager of AI & Analytics, you will guide production deployment, safety, quality, and security across the AI lifecycle. The role requires practical technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and talent development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead reusable AI/ML services, components, harnesses, agents, and tooling
- Develop guardrails and evaluation frameworks with AI Governance leadership
- Enable product teams through tooling, guidance, and engineering support
- Establish technical strategies, priorities, and integrated delivery roadmaps
- Manage, coach, motivate, and recruit data and software professionals
Requirements:
- Five-plus years delivering production AI/ML, data science, or analytics solutions
- Three-plus years leading AI/ML, data science, or analytics teams
- One-plus year delivering agentic AI services or capabilities
- Experience implementing production AI safety, quality, and governance frameworks
- Legal authorization to work in Canada and Controlled Goods eligibility
