Universal Realty Group is a leading property management company in Halifax, known for quality apartments in great locations, top-tier commercial leasing services and the landmark Lord Nelson Hotel & Suites.
We are currently seeking a qualified Purchasing Manager to join our team.

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for controlling costs, negotiating contracts, contract management, building supplier relationships for the requirements and specification of parts/materials required for our properties.

Dental care
On-site parking
Building supplier relationships.
Project management: take lead on projects as assigned by manager, provide purchasing support.
Negotiating maintenance contracts for the buildings and hotel.
Preparing contracts for vendors (Currently using the Yardi system).
General purchasing when needed.

2 - 3 years of purchasing experience.
~ Microsoft Office Programs.
~ Experience with Yardi Systems Software.
