Our client is an industry leader, and they are looking to hire a Senior Tax Analyst to join their team.

About the Opportunity
  • To support the Canadian and US tax functions, including preparing tax filings and payments, assessing/preparing working documents (ensuring clear audit trails), and overseeing specific deadlines for timely submissions, including federal and state income and franchise tax returns and payments
  • Aiding in the preparation of tax provisions for financial statements, including income tax disclosures
  • Supporting responses to tax authority inquiries during audits
  • Reviewing tax authority correspondence, reconciling disparities, updating return carryforward records, making adjustments to general ledger accounts, and preparing relevant file documentation
  • Calculating Management Fees for US Entities
About You
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in commerce, business administration, or a related field
  • Professional accounting designation (US CPA/Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant)
  • 3-5 years of experience in Corporate Taxation
  • Experience in Canadian income taxation is advantageous
