Located in Downtown Toronto
Reporting to the Manager of Events and Sponsorship, you are key to the success of all the events. Collaborate and work closely with the Marketing and Communications team on events-related efforts.
Coordinate internal meetings and take meeting minutes for event-related discussions.
Create and maintain digital content for external communications for social media and sites.
Provide information for event calendar and creation of marketing materials for events.
Resolve event inquiries and manage communications with stakeholders such as sponsors and speakers.
Invite members to attend events and webinars via phone calls and emails.
Collect information from stakeholders/event participants such as logos, bios, and videos for events.
Assist with event planning, including sourcing vendors, suppliers, venues, etc.
Conduct research and collect relevant data to support event planning and execution.
Manage data on events including updating database, merging records, sponsorship history, etc.
Execute post-event activities such as collecting feedback, debriefs and analyses, etc.
You are passionate about inclusivity and supporting events that enable this mission. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Event Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Hospitality Management, etc.
Event Planning Certificate or Certified Special Events Professional certification would be a strong asset.
At least 1-2 years of experience in event coordination, ideally in a non-profit environment.
Solid multi-tasking and organizational abilities.
Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and professional communication skills.
Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
